# WaveAPI is not maintained anymore. WaveAPI is a modding API which aims to completely abstract the game with the goal of making modding just a tiny bit easier and free from having to port your mod. ## Using quilt? WaveAPI creates a new folder in your Minecraft folder called WaveAPI folder, it used for caching certain things but if you are using quilt you may want to move WaveAPI mods into waveAPI/mods (the folder does not exist by default so you will need to create it) folder inside of your Minecraft folder. ## Issues? If you notice Texture from WaveAPI mods not working you may want to go to waveAPI folder and delete modifcache.txt file. # Want to try making a mod using WaveAPI?
