📋 About This Mod
Veinminer plus tree chopper, farm harvest, and tunnel mode for Fabric Minecraft 26. 2. Exotherm but Veinminer breaks the whole connected vein, tree, or ripe crop patch from one block, with every block counted in mined statistics.

Vanilla breaks one block at a time. This chains connected ores, logs, crops, and cane instead, through the vanilla breaking path, so drops, stats, hunger, advancements, and experience orbs stay true.
## Features
- Veins — crack one ore block and the whole connected ore vein comes down.
- Trees — break one log and the whole tree falls, leaves decay fast and saplings replant.
- Crops — break one ripe crop or sugar cane and the whole ripe patch falls, then replants itself.
- Tunnel mode — flat 3x3 digging with its own settings, even looking straight up or down.
- Statistics kept — every vein-mined block counts as mined, not just the block that was swung at.

## Settings
- Trigger — one shared trigger for both modes: Off, Sneak-only, or No-sneak. `Alt` flips between vein and tunnel, `O` opens whichever is active. One mode runs at a time.
- Block list — searchable menu to toggle exactly which blocks vein, each with its item icon.
- Outline — previews the vein in the world before breaking. Estimate only, the server decides.
- Leaf decay — follows vanilla leaf rules, player-placed leaves stay put.
- Hardness mode — optional slower breaking for big veins, off by default, so bulk mining never feels free. A durability reserve slider keeps tools alive through big chains.
- Pickup boost — wider pickup for a bit after a vein, so drops drift over instead of scattering.
- Claim guard — holds veins inside the mined chunk and honors vanilla spawn protection. On by default.
- Tool filter — links into Gooditems settings, needs Exotherm but Gooditems installed.

## Requirements
Needs Fabric Loader and Fabric API, nothing beyond that. Mod Menu is optional and only adds a settings button. Install Exotherm but Gooditems as well to unlock the tool filter link in settings.
## Installation
1. Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 26. 2. 2. Drop Fabric API and this jar into the `mods` folder. 3. Launch the game. Press `O` to open settings.

## Compatibility
- Minecraft 26. 2, Fabric only.
- Runs on client and server, in single-player and on dedicated servers. The server handles veining, the client adds the outline preview and settings.
- Adds nothing to the world, so dropping it into an existing save is safe.
- Outline preview tested with Sodium.
Why switch from another veinminer? For statistics: most vein mods void vein-mined blocks, this counts every one as mined. The farm harvests and replants on top of that, plus a 3x3 tunnel mode with its own settings.
Is this a hammer or 3x3 mod? It has one built in: tunnel mode digs flat 3x3 with its own settings, even looking straight up or down, no separate hammer mod needed.
Can vein and tunnel run together? No. One mode runs at a time, `Alt` flips between them and `O` opens the active one. Saving a menu with its mode on switches straight to it.
Does it work without the client mod? Yes. The server does the veining; the client only adds the outline preview, settings screens, and keybind.
Will it wear out tools or lag the server? Veining stops while tools still have life left, drops stay vanilla, and blocks fall in waves instead of all at once.
Does it work with modded blocks? Yes. Any block toggles in the searchable list, and the defaults already cover ores through registry tags, so most modded ores vein with no setup.
Will it flatten a farm by accident? No. Only ripe crops get harvested, green ones stay planted, and mining itself sets to off, sneak-only, or no-sneak.
Do Fortune and Silk Touch still apply? Yes. Vein-mined blocks break through the vanilla path, so enchantments, stats, hunger, and advancements all behave exactly as mined by hand.
Does it respect land claims? Veins hold inside the mined chunk and honor vanilla spawn protection through Claim guard, on by default. Modded claim mods it cannot read, something server owners should know.
Does it replant on its own? Yes. Saplings, crops, cocoa, wart, chorus, and cane bases go back in the ground on their own, and every bit of it toggles off in settings.
Does it work with performance or rendering mods? The outline preview is tested with Sodium. Turn the outline off in settings if another mod ever fights over the same highlight.
Is it safe to add to an existing world? Yes. It adds no blocks, items, or world data, so existing save
VeinMiner lets you mine an entire ore vein by breaking a single block, saving time and making mining more satisfying. It's a highly configurable server-side mod/plugin that works on vanilla servers and supports all clients. With 5,955 endorsements and 76.6M downloads, it's a proven favorite for players who want to speed up resource gathering.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Massive community trust: 5,955 endorsements and 76.6M downloads show it's a go-to mod.
- Server-side design means no client mods needed—works for everyone on your server.
- Flexible setup: choose the full mod/plugin for deep customization or the light DataPack for vanilla/snapshot support.
⚠️ Cons
- The full 2.x version requires specific server software (Fabric/Quilt, Paper/PurPur/Folia, NeoForge), so it's not universal for all server types.
- The description is a bit thin on exact configuration details, so you may need to dig into docs or trial-and-error to set it up just right.
- Optional addons (client hotkey, enchantment) are separate downloads, adding extra steps if you want those features.
This is for survival players who hate tediously mining every ore block one by one—it turns that grind into a satisfying one-click vein clear. Server admins running Paper or Fabric will appreciate the server-side install that works for all their players without forcing client mods. It's also great for modpack creators who want to speed up early-game resource gathering.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Start with the preconfigured settings—it already works for ores and pickaxes, so you can jump right in.
- If you want to control when veinmining triggers, grab the client addon for a hotkey and preview.
- On a server, make sure you have the right server software (Paper, Fabric, etc.) for the 2.x version, or use the 1.x DataPack for vanilla.
