# Sword Blocking Plus **Sword Blocking Plus** is an add-on that reintroduces the classic pre-1.9 (https://minecraft.wiki/w/Sword_blocking) as an enchantment. ## Features - Adds a custom enchantment, **Blocking**, which; - If applied to a weapon (swords, axes, or maces), allows the enchanted weapon to block attacks similar to a shield. - Has two levels: - **Blocking I** - Faithful to pre-1.9 sword blocking - Blocks 50% of damage - Takes away 6 durability per hit. - **Blocking II** - Similar to modern shields - Blocks 100% of damage - Takes away 25 durability per hit. ## Installation - Data Pack - Drop the datapack in your world’s `datapacks` folder - Fabric / Quilt / Forge / NeoForge - Drop the .jar file in the `%appdata%/.minecraft/mods` folder ## Not Compatible With - Other datapacks or modifications that adds Sword Blocking
