Soul Squad Origins

## THIS MOD REQUIRES (https://modrinth.com/mod/origins) Soul Squad is an expansion upon one of my first origins addons, Poltergeist. it contains poltergeist, along with a new origin Hivemind. # Poltergeist: Poltergeist is an origin that makes you into a block possessing spirit. You can go around the world possessing blocks, each block has a mining level and attack damage. Some blocks even have Unique powers. ### Main Abilities: The poltergeist has 2 forms; The spirit, and the possessed forms. As the spirit, you cant interact with the world, but you can phase through blocks. you cant break nor place blocks. As the possessed, You can interact with the world, as you have a corporeal form. The poltergeist, not having a living body, cannot use tools, nor armour, since their "body" is a block. Instead they gain the properties of the blocks they possess. By pressing the key whilst inside of a block, you will possess that block, gaining its abilites. If you are possessing a block, and you press you will un-possess it, and leave it where you were standing. Also, if you press whilst crouching and holding a block, you will swap to the block you were holding. ### Block Durability: The possessed form of the poltergeist causes wear on the blocks over time. when possessing a block, depending on the material, you will have more/less time as that block before it breaks. When a block breaks, it is gone, you have to make a new block in order to repossess it. <details> <summary>Unique Powers</summary> <details> <summary>Crafting Table</summary> The crafting table allows the player to open up a portable crafting table window, skipping the need to place down a crafting table to use it </details> <details> <summary>Furnace</summary> The furnace allows the player to auto smelt any block they mine, this includes sand, logs, stone, and ores! </details> <details> <summary>Smoker</summary> The smoker will automatically smelt any drops from mobs it kills, also rerolling the loot table to get double drops. </details> <details> <summary>Blast Furnace</summary> The blast furnace will automatically smelt any block it mines, and reroll the loot table to get double drops. </details> <details> <summary>Dispenser</summary> The dispenser will shoot arrows you are holding. </details> <details> <summary>Hopper</summary> The hopper will teleport items within a 5 block radius to the player. </details> <details> <summary>TNT</summary> The TNT will be lit, and you stop possessing it. </details> <details> <summary>Block of Netherite</summary> The block of netherite will give you fire immunity while possessing it. </details> <details> <summary>Dragon Head</summary> The dragon head gives you a set of elytra! </details> <details> <summary>Brewing Stand</summary> You can Consume Blaze powder, magma cream, sugar, or a ghast tear, to receive that ingredients potion effect. To consume them, you right click the ingredients in your inventory. </details> <details> <summary>Beacon</summary> When you have 9 beacon base blocks nearby, you gain jump boost. When you have 18 nearby you gain speed, and when you have 27 nearby, you gain strength. </details> <details> <summary>Chest</summary> you open a chest to store some items </details> <details> <summary>Ender Chest</summary> you open an ender chest to store some items. </details> <details> <summary>Shulker Box</summary> you open a double chest to store some items </details> </details> # Hivemind: The Hivemind is a more human-like origin. You spawn seemingly as a human, but with 1 less heart, and the hearts are purple? Using your active ability, you can create new bodies, at the cost of some of your max health. ### Main Abilities: Create an alternate body Open the body selection screen The main characteristic of the hivemind is its ability to spread itself out in multiple locations, and your soul can freely travel between the bodies regardless of distance. Beware, whilst these bodies have their own inventories, health, hunger, etc, they are still a player even when you aren't possessing them. Mobs will attack an unprotected body.
