📋 About This Mod
The Boogeyman adds a terrifying new monster. Its history comes from the SCP universe, where it is referred to as SCP-015-IT, also known as The Boogeyman.
If you spend too much time in extremely dark places, a warning will appear, signaling that the SCP-015-IT will come for you. If you fail to find a strong light source soon after, SCP-015-IT will appear. This creature will hunt you, inflicting fear that leads to terrifying hallucinations and disturbing sounds. The longer you do nothing to address the fear, the more intense the effect becomes.

► What is my console spaming?
Most mobs use special spawning conditions, which means that these mobs can only appear under certain conditions. If the spawning conditions work, this spam is created in the console.
► Why can't I summon a mob?
Spawning Conditions determine which conditions must be met in order to spawn certain mobs. Some mobs only spawn above Y level 60. Some below. Most mobs can only spawn in the overworld than in other dimensions.
► Why are features missing in different versions?
It is recommended to play the newest versions of higher minecraft versions.
Not all features of MCreator available or the same in different versions. For example: Version 1. 19. 2 doesn't have the feature of shield, better structure generation or custom villagers, but Version 1. 20. 1 does have them.
► Where does SCP-015-IT spawn?
SCP-015-IT spawns if the player spends too long in dark areas after seeing SCP-015-IT earlier
► How can I activate SCP-015-IT to spawn in dark areas?
You can alternatly try to find and look at an Instance of SCP-015-IT which stalks you, or activate the gamerule "enableBoogeyman" to true.
► Does the Boogeyman work with Dynamic Lightning?
No. The Boogeyman Mod does not work with Dynamic Lightning.
► How can I disable the Hallucinations of SCP-015-IT?
To turn off the fear effect, you can set the gamerule "doFearEffect" to false.

SCP-015-IT is a humanoid pitch-black entity with glowing eyes. It firstly stalks the player, disappearing when they get too close. After a player saw SCP-015-IT, it will attack if the player stays in dark areas with a light level below 3 for too long. The player will be warned three times, and if ignored, SCP-015-IT will spawn and inflict the Darkness effect. Players within 8 blocks receive the Fear effect. If SCP-015-IT attacks, the player gets Slowness and Mining Fatigue. SCP-015-IT is strong and fast. When it kills a player, it disappears, and the Fear effect ends. Killing SCP-015-IT also removes the Fear effect.
