Affected by: darkness, deep caves, isolation, lack of sleep, thunderstorms, the Deep Dark, and exposure to cold rain and water. Restored by: bright light, sleeping, villages, music, standing near other players, animal companionship (tamed wolves & cats), finding peace at high mountain altitudes, and holding a clock to ground yourself. 👁 Psychological Hallucinations Fake footsteps and whispers heard just out of sight. Shadow figures watching you in the distance. Fake hostile mob sounds creeping up behind you. Torches that randomly flicker. Screen desaturation and subtle, panic-inducing visual distortions. A rare “watching” entity that immediately disappears when you look at it. 🌑 Dynamic Fear System The lower your sanity: The more intense and suffocating the hallucinations become.
