# Purely Beta A fork of (https://modrinth.com/datapack/elements-of-beta), also by me, Optim00se. - Please read the entire page so that you do not miss any key information that may impact your experience. *Want to play Beta Minecraft with your friends in a modern version that has mod support?* ### RESOURCE PACK REQUIRED **Purely Beta** ("PB") is a datapack and resource pack mainly intended for **servers**. PB is a fork of (https://modrinth.com/datapack/elements-of-beta). Where EOB has custom content, this pack gives a <u>vanilla</u> Beta 1.7.3 experience... No frills! ### Major Changes: (As of 1.0 / EOB 1.8) - Experience and hunger removed - Attack delay removed - Beta 1.7.3 Food System - Sprinting removed - Golden Days and Beta Recipes are integrated within EOB. Using the plugin OldGenerator is heavily recommended. - End removed - EOB Filter: all modern blocks, mobs, items, and recipes are removed. - Sand and Gravel duping (like Beta) - Slab and (simple) wool Transmutation - Blockstate checker (e.g. upside-down stairs) - *Many more! For before 1.0, check out the EOB changelog!* ### Other Beta mods! Here's the best ones: - OldGenerator or BetaWorldGenerator plugin (for servers) - Nostalgic Tweaks (clientside) ### Known Incompatibility: (NT = nostalgic tweaks mod) - NT Prevent hunger <-- IS incompatible. - NT Old Drops <-- IS incompatible. - Modern(er) Beta World Generation (may be configurable to work) - Other datapacks/mods that affect the datapack's scopes. - Mods that use the default Heart icon ### ON WORLD GENERATION - (https://github.com/ModernBetaNetwork/BetaWorldGenerator) or (https://github.com/Spottedleaf/OldGenerator) is MOST recommended! - Modern(er) Beta might have *some* compatibility with configuration but it is highly unstable Images in the Gallery are just the same ones as EOB, because the projects are very similar.
