# Overview Orpiment is another vanilla-friendly mod that adds Wraiths, Amber and Amber caves, Tar, new blocksets, and new slimes. # Features ## **Biomes** ## Amber Caves !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/31bd66fa78ab0acbfe0357e3ad3b3b6569d185ce.png) Amber caves are a new underground biome, they spawn uncommonly in warmer temperature biomes. ### Sap !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/c1b9bf092c509c914c0f803b19ec3e5df7c92270.png) Saps are a slime variant spawning in Amber Caves. They are by default neutral unless provoked. When spawned they will be filled with random loot, this loot is dropped upon its death. You can also store items in the sap by right clicking it or letting it bounce over them. ### Bucketing !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/e63e1f2a44f38ceceaa3d5447599d349024a5f5b.png) Medium Sap's can also be bucketed to move the sap around easily. ### Amber !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/6093a223e43da36a9cc32e0c4ba6b87684a94072.png) Amber can be found in spheres on the walls or floors of the Amber Caves, when breaking an amber block it will drop 1-2 amber chunks. ### Amber Blockset !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/830d03cb126659a9c444acd61797f90475467af1.png) Amber can be crafted into numerous blocks, including pillars, bricks, lamps, and chiseled blocks. ## Craws ### Craw Egg !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/dc319f1d81f8e1a96f8253563a50b96395dd089d.png) Craw eggs can be found rarely inside saps and will hatch slowly similar to sniffer eggs, placing them on lignite blocks will speed it up. ### Craw !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/35e4427f57d4ca6953c730b732df5af2b71c5b64.png) When the egg hatches it will spawn a baby craw, once it ages to an adult you can tame it with bird feed and equip it with a saddle. You can then ride it however it has limited energy, it's energy will decrease as you ride or dash with it, when it reaches 0 you will be kicked off. It's energy will increase every tick while you're not riding and you can feed it bird feed to increase it. ## Cedar Forest !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/8074a7b815ecd0d45d5748d4a852b9f0792a8b9d.png) Cedar forests spawn in colder areas near taigas and birch forests. ### Cedar Woodset !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/cc986269f0ea77dfe9d2b57214074e7821b0eb3f.png) Cedar wood comes with all the normal wooden blocks. ## **Tar Pits** !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/ba265559a20ec79ee6e98af2909ac9cc5d59c1f3.png) Tar pits are small pools found in arid and swamp biomes. And is made up of Tar liquid and Tarred sand. ### Tar Cube !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/d95bb36188918ba1e126c3826071874f29743c11.png) The Tar Cube spawns in Tar and tar pits, they are aggressive to the player and when hitting the player, the player will be inflicted with the Tarred effect. The Tarred effect worsens movement speed, jump height, swim speed, and more. Small Tar cubes will ignore the player and search for tar liquid, when in tar liquid for a few seconds they will size back up to a medium cube and attack the player again. ## Structures ### Arid Sanctum !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/375e22fe5a9391cf0203ea0185aca43ac1c9006e.png) Sanctums are underground structures that spawn in arid biomes, they are made of amber and tar blocks. Rooms will consist of loot alongside burst and relay spawners. Burst spawners will spawn a burst of a set mob but will never spawn more. Relay spawners will connect to a nearby normal monster spawner and mimic it's mob, if the monster spawner is broken the relay spawner will stop spawning mobs. ## Mini-Bosses ### Wraith !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/c8c572f64a5748e5601669e1759eed327ba89d8f.png) The Wraith is summoned by right clicking a Wraith altar with a Deepslate seal, Wraith altars spawning in Catacombs structures. It will circle the player doing numerous attacks like charging, firing projectiles, and summoning entities. At 25% health it will start to circle faster and increase its attack pool and speed. When killed it will drop a few bones and Wraith ectoplasm. ## Utilities ### Amber Cage !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/4d26558b0f249f845f721583100a69aa4b87b9f2.png) The Amber cage is crafted with 8 Amber chunks and 1 Wraith ectoplasm. When right clicked it will freeze the player and spawn 5 high damage projectiles above the players head. Then each subsequent right-click will fire those projectiles 1 by 1 in the direction the player
