About this mod:

Orevolution expands Minecraft's progression with four new ores, two alloys, and unique abilities for both new and vanilla materials. Instead of replacing vanilla progression, it fills the gaps between existing tiers and gives every material a purpose beyond bigger numbers.

Development is focused on 1. 21. 1. The 1. 20. 1 version will continue receiving bug fixes, and major content updates may be backported after the 1. 21. 1 release stabilizes, but neither statements are to be taken as a compromise.

Main features this mod offers:

New Ores & Alloys:

• Tin: The new first step after stone. Tin tools are not that strong, but they have a chance to duplicate block drops (kinda like fortune, i think), and its sword can poison your enemies. Most likely your first choice while going out for building materials in the early game.
• Bronze: A mainly decorative Alloy made from tin and copper. With bronze, the main things you can caft are three new magical Totems that grant passive effects while held, a Diving Suit for whatever reason you might go underwater, and a radar for keeping track of your friends.  
• Platinum: The bridge between Iron and Diamond gear. Its tools grant extra experience from mining, while its weapons are especially effective against skeletons, zombies and other undead enemies. The armor briefly grants Strenght after taking damage.
• Steel: a mid to late-game Alloy made from Iron, Blaze Powder and Coal. It's a primarily utility-focused alloy built for large projects. Its tools excel at terraforming and construction, from 3×3 mining and tilling to an indestructible broadaxe. It also introduces the Steel Anvil, a permanent upgrade over the vanilla anvil that never breaks.
• Tungsten: A reinforcerment metal that is highly resistant to the high temperature of the nether, used to upgrade other equipment. The Tungsten Diving Gear extends the time you can spend underwater AND let's you swim through lava for 45 seconds. Also, while it's not in the picture, Tungsten can be used to upgrade Netherite armor into the super interesting Reinforced Netherite armor.
• Aethersteel: The last ore that Orevolution offers. Aethersteel combines the strengths of previous tiers into equipment suited for every situation, offering powerful utility both in combat and mining, also it looks cool.

New progression and Unique effects (Powers):

Expands the original progression so the new ores become a natural part of your adventures. Tin and Platinum are a milestone to progress through the game.

Along with this change, instead of every tier simply increasing damage and durability, each material specializes in something different. Some excel at exploration, others at farming, combat, mining or resource gathering. Vanilla materials also receive unique ab
