# Open In Inventory Open guidebooks, backpacks, handhelds and more with a single click in inventory. Before: 1. Locate the item 2. Transfer item to hotbar 3. Close GUI 4. Scroll you mouse wheel to select the item, and finally 5. Open it. After: 0. (configurable) Ensure your main hand is empty 1. Locate the item, and 2. Right click it to open.
