# Nuit Interop
_Formerly known as FabricSkyBoxes Interop_
Nuit Interop adds compatibility for OptiFine/MCPatcher custom skies, allowing existing resource packs to work with (https://modrinth.com/mod/nuit), the modern multiloader successor to FabricSkyBoxes.
It converts supported OptiFine custom sky definitions to Nuit’s skybox format at runtime, making many existing sky resource packs work out of the box.
