# No Natural Regeneration This datapack automatically disables the natural health regeneration mechanic in Minecraft by setting the gamerule **natural_health_regeneration** to false when the world loads. With this change, players will no longer regenerate health by consuming food. Hunger can still be restored, but it will not restore health over time. This increases the overall difficulty and encourages alternative healing methods such as potions, golden apples, or other custom mechanics.
