📋 About This Mod
# Name Colors A simple server-side mod that adds a command for changing your name color in chat With the mod installed on the server, players may run `/color <hex_code>` (e.g. `/color ffff8d`) to change their color (the hex value may optionally be prefixed with `#`), and `/color clear` to reset their color back to the default. All users with a color set will have their name appear their color in the chat and on the player list. On 26.2+, their locator bar color will also be changed to that color. ## Works Fully Serverside In multiplayer, the mod **only needs to be installed on the server to function**, and players without the mod installed are able to connect to servers with the mod installed. ## Version Policy As with most of my mods, the plan is to keep Name Colors on 1.21.1 Neoforge & Fabric for as long as 1.21.1 is a prominent version for modpacks, and continue pushing updates for the version of Minecraft on Fabric. As the "long-term-support" version, 1.21.1 is the only Minecraft version older than Latest Release which will be receiving new versions of the mod. ## Bug Reports If you find any bugs, please report them to the (https://codeberg.org/jolkert/name_colors/issues) ## Modpacks As with all of my mods, you may include Name Colors in any modpack.
