# **ModernMinecarts** The Minecart Update you've been waiting for. ModernMinecarts is all about rekindling your love for Minecarts. However, oxidation causes them to become slower over time, down to half the speed of powered rails. They are crafted like regular powered rails, using copper instead of gold. They have a new UI screen with a speedometer and a fuel slot that accepts all fuel types. They also refuel themselves from attached chest and hopper minecarts and load chunks as long as they are burning fuel. Stop empty carts or trains until fully loaded, or invert it to unload full minecarts and send them off once empty.
