# Where are updates? I am currently in the process of learning **actual** minecraft modding with coding in java, and the lack of updates honestly is a dash of laziness and a sprinkle of mcreator limitations. ### What can be expected in the future? Expect a switch from forge to fabric, I prefer fabric due to it feeling a lot better than forge with gameplay, however I do want to **try** to make a neoforge version for every major version of the new mod upto 1.0.0 and maybe even further. Just depends. Also I am more interested in supporting newer versions, but I do realize that there are a lot of great mods for older versions so I will **try** to support 1.21+, 1.18.X, 1.19.X, 1.16.X **?**, 1.12.2 and **maybe** 1.7.10, more modern versions will get more priority and support for these **if it does happen** will be gradual starting with support for modern versions and moving down.
