My friend dared me to remake (https://modrinth.com/mod/pockets) as a datapack, which was very easy to do... Now it's on recent versions!

This datapack makes all crafted leather pants have pockets in them! You can store up to a stack of items in them! They take damage, protect you from mobs, just like regular leather pants. In version 1. 0 they didn't take damage like regular armor, in 1. 1 they do! Be mindful of this when downloading
This doesn't work on other leather pants (from creative, structures, etc.), only newly crafted ones! Your old pants are safe!
