# FriendLink FriendLink is an experimental Fabric client mod that backports Minecraft's official Friends / P2P multiplayer flow to Minecraft 1.21-26.1.2. It uses Mojang/Microsoft services for friends presence, official signaling, TURN auth, and WebRTC transport. ## Status Experimental. The current build is focused on validating the official P2P path on Minecraft 26.1.2. ## Requirements - Minecraft 1.21-26.1.2 - Fabric Loader - Fabric API - Microsoft accounts with Minecraft friends / online presence enabled ## Notes - FriendLink does not include, distribute, or replace Minecraft itself. - This is not a custom server relay. - The official flow depends on Microsoft services and may be unstable on restricted or high-latency networks. - Both clients should use the same mod build. - Players must be Minecraft / Microsoft friends before they can connect through FriendLink. ## Usage 1. Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API for your Minecraft version. 2. Download the FriendLink jar that matches your Minecraft version and place it in the `mods` folder. 3. Make sure both players are Minecraft / Microsoft friends. 4. Both players should start Minecraft with FriendLink installed. 5. One player opens a world and starts the FriendLink host flow. 6. The other player joins through the FriendLink friend connection flow. 7. After joining the same world, TPA commands can be used for non-cheat teleport requests.（1.21.X） ## License FriendLink is licensed under GPL-3.0-only. See `LICENSE`.
