Deselect

# Deselect Have you ever wished that you could press a button to have an empty hand without removing anything from your hotbar? Ever thought it felt weird to be carrying some kind of item in your hands while you go to bed and walked around your base, and wished you could keep your hands empty without having to constantly shuffle around your hotbar? Well now you can! Inspired by the same mechanic which is present in Starbound, all you need to do is press the **Z** key, and your hand will be empty. Its technically even useful, as it allows you to perform interactions which normally require an empty hand (eg. horse taming) without having to mess with your hotbar layout. ## Technically Serverside **Must be installed on the server** for clients to be able to deselect, but if installed serverside, will still allow clients without the mod to connect, meaning not everyone needs the mod. However, **clients without the mod installed will not be able to use any of the mod's features.** ## Version Policy As with most of my mods, the plan is to keep Deselect on 1.21.1 Neoforge & Fabric for as long as 1.21.1 is a prominent version for modpacks, and continue pushing updates for the version of Minecraft on Fabric. As the "long-term-support" version, 1.21.1 is the only Minecraft version older than Latest Release which will be receiving new versions of the mod. ## Bug Reports If you find any bugs, please report them to the (https://codeberg.org/jolkert/deselect/issues) ## Modpacks As with all of my mods, you may include Deselect in any modpack.
