# Challenge Library Challenge Library is a modular challenge mod for Fabric that adds fast, high-pressure gameplay for singleplayer and multiplayer worlds. Create custom challenge runs in seconds, combine compatible challenges, switch to random challenge rotations, generate challenge maps, and manage everything in-game. ## Note: This is **not a library or API mod.** It is a standalone Minecraft mod that directly adds new in-game challenges and does not require any additional dependencies beyond the standard mod loader. ## Why Challenge Library? - Fast setup with no complicated configuration - Multiple challenge modes in one clean system - In-game selection, descriptions, and session controls - Random challenge rotation for endless variety - Challenge maps for structured custom worlds - Multiplayer-ready challenge flow - Great for challenge videos, streams, and SMP events ## Features - In-game challenge menu with descriptions - Select **multiple challenges** with compatibility checks - Random Challenge Mode with selectable challenge pools - Configurable random switch intervals - Challenge Maps menu for map-based challenge worlds - One Chunk map generation directly from the mod - Full settings menu with general, timer, UI, and data tabs - Start, stop, and resume challenge sessions - Synced session flow for multiplayer - Clear feedback via chat, actionbar, and HUD - Persistent config and session state - Localization: English and German ## Included Challenges - **One Inventory Slot** Only the first hotbar slot and offhand are usable. - **New Chunk, Random Mob** Entering a new chunk can trigger a random mob encounter. - **Find The Item, Or Die** A timed target item must be found before the timer ends. - **Don't Stop Moving** Standing still too long causes lethal damage. - **Block Drop Randomizer** Blocks drop randomized items, consistent per world and dimension. - **Mob Drop Randomizer** Mob drops are randomized by mob type. - **Changing Gravity** Gravity changes over time. - **No Jumping** Jumping is fully disabled. - **Ultra Fog** Visibility is heavily reduced. - **Ultra Hardcore** No natural regeneration; death is heavily punishing. - **Block Cooldown** Blocks can only be placed after a cooldown. - **Higher Level, Bigger Border** The world border grows as you level up. - **Nether Start** Start your challenge run in the Nether. - **Name & Texture Shuffle** Minecraft names and textures are shuffled for a chaotic twist. - **No Tools** Crafting or using tools is fully disabled. ## Commands `/challenge select <id>` `/challenge start` `/challenge stop` `/challenge status` `/challenge describe <id>` ## Multiplayer Challenge Library is designed for co-op and SMP challenge runs: - Shared pressure and consequences - Synchronized challenge state - Great for events and creator challenges - Works well with random challenge rotations and map-based runs ## Development Status Challenge Library is in active development.
