Caves+: The Frozen Caves

Most of this biome is composed of Frosted Stone, with a sheet of Cave Ice on the floor and Icicles sprouting from the ceiling. This biome spawns smaller groups of Zombies, Creepers, and Skeletons than most biomes, with Spiders not spawning at all due to how cold this biome is. Creepers are a real threat in this biome due to their explosions having a chance to knock the Icicles on the ceiling down. These Icicles deal 4 Damage when they strike a mob. Permafrost Gems are an uncommon ore found in this biome. They can be crafted into Permafrost Ingots, which can be used to make Freeze blocks, which will freeze entities in place when they are standing on it and when it's given a Redstone signal. Emeralds can be found here rarely, too. ## The Cold Dungeon: !(https://media.forgecdn.net/attachments/1058/15/minecraft-forge_-1.png) This is a rarer structure that is found in the Frozen Caves. It is a large labyrinth full of Chests and Stray Spawners. You can get a lot of loot from one of these structures, and there is a main room (pictured above) that has a Permafrost Safe, which can be unlocked with a Permafrost Key. This Safe can contain a new Armor Trim and a new Music Disc. You can find an explorer map for this structure within Igloos. # Boss Endonova: !(https://media.forgecdn.net/attachments/1058/21/minecraft-forge_-1.png) This is a strong Boss mob that spawns in Cold Dungeons, who is likely the source of the Frozen Caves. Endonova will cast Slowness spells and summon Strays to help them in battle. Getting Endonova to around 1/2 health will cause them to go into a second phase mode, where they will regenerate all of their health.
