Register them with a tap, call them back from anywhere, and watch them grow stronger, and more independent, the longer you explore together. Whether it's the wolf that keeps falling off cliffs or the cat you spent an hour taming, this mod means you never have to lose them for good! ----- ## Development Status Unfortunately, development of Bell of Companions is currently paused. During the development of version 1.5.0, I lost the project files due to a Windows issue. The 1.5.0 update was planned to be a much larger update than what is currently available, and this description includes some of the features that were already in progress. Recovering or rebuilding the project would require starting again from version 1.4.0, which would mean losing a significant amount of development work. Thank you to everyone who has supported this mod. I genuinely enjoyed working on it, and I hope I can continue it someday. ----- !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/f4cf80ca3298d148f11f2391f7350cc5c5fdc3e9.png) ## TL;DR - **Instant Recall** - handheld Pet Bell or placeable block (redstone-compatible) - **Smart Tagging** - register any tamed pet with the Pet Tagger; instant naming if you're holding a Name Tag - **Deep Bonding** - 5 bond levels, archetype-based XP, real stat growth - **Role-Based Growth** - Fighter, Guardian, Scout, Support, Forager - each grows differently - **Petting** - shift + right-click any tagged pet for bonus XP and love - **Soulbound Perks** - passive regen, low-health alert, one-time death save - **Totem of Revitalization** - bank revive charges on a living pet, or revive a dead one from the registry - **Co-Ownership** - share pets with friends, safely - **Pet List** - full searchable registry with death history, batch recall, and revival !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/cached_images/8cf256a8dfb6b9a7360ca1d25ab151b671c26ddf.png) Use the **Pet Tagger** on any tamed animal to register it. It works with or without a Name Tag in your inventory. If you are holding one, tagging opens a naming prompt and registers the pet in a single step (Creative mode skips the requirement entirely). Unfortunately, development of Bell of Companions is currently paused.
During the development of version 1. 5. 0, I lost the project files due to a Windows issue. The 1. 5. 0 update was planned to be a much larger update than what is currently available, and this description includes some of the features that were already in progress. Recovering or rebuilding the project would require starting again from version 1. 4. 0, which would mean losing a significant amount of development work.
