Aetheric Roots

Players grow bonsai trees from vanilla Minecraft saplings, which progress through 5 growth stages. Once mature, each tree type unlocks a unique magical behavior fueled by Ether Candles, a craftable resource placed on the bonsai (up to 6 per tree) that amplifies the effect.

### Trees and Their Powers - Oak: Automatically bonemeals nearby crops - Spruce: Pulls nearby dropped items like a magnet - Birch: Purifies negative potion effects from nearby players - Jungle: Spawns spreading thorned vines that damage and slow enemies - Acacia: Knocks back nearby monsters - Dark Oak: Grants XP orbs in dark areas - Cherry: Strikes nearby monsters with lightning - Mangrove: Slows the growth of other nearby bonsai trees ### Mechanics - Shear pruning: Reverts growth stage and yields leaves/sticks - Freezing/unfreezing: Preserves bonsai state with ether wax - Hopper behavior: Candle input from top, resource output from bottom - Dynamic light: Bonsai emits light based on growth stage and candle count - Explosion risk: Leaving a bonsai at max growth too long causes it to explode
