[Origin] The Sword

_A powerful yet delicate machine created for war, the Sword is highly skilled in melee combat._

## Abilities ### Agile [+] _Your light frame offers much higher movement and attack speed. Sneaking while sprint jumping also allows you to leap._

Gain a 50% boost in horizontal movement and a 50% boost in attack speed, and an additional 25% speed boost in the air.

### Glass Cannon [-] _Being such an old machine, your construction has become brittle and much more fragile, leaving you with very little health._

You now have only three hearts of health.

### Amputee [-] _You do not have a functional offhand, and anything in that slot will be dropped. Additionally, ranged weapons deal very little damage._

Ranged weapons, such as bows and crossbows, have a 85% reduction in damage dealt.

### Udex-Compatible Cell _You have a limited internal battery to power your weapons, which can be recharged by parrying and sleeping, as well as passively while at full health. Being low on power will cause you to enter low power mode, making you very vulnerable._

When in low power mode (below 15 energy) you lose your ability to tank attacks. Watch your energy consumption carefully!

### Parry [+] _Your primary ability allows you to parry any attack that comes your way, recovering 33 energy in the process._

Upon taking damage 4 ticks (0. 2s) after activating your parry, the attacker will be knocked back and stunned temporarily.

### ... And I Mean Anything [+] _Parrying while landing from a height of at least 10 blocks allows you to parry the ground._

Be aware that ground parries will not recover energy or health.

### Shock Absorber [+] _All forms of damage cap at 2 damage per hit, given the player has at least 15 energy stored._

### Metallic Body [-] _Not only does your body sink in water due to your high density, but water also inhibits passive power generation._

### Inorganic Body [-] _You no longer lose hunger or heal naturally, you must instead use copper, iron and gold ingots or parry to heal._

Copper ingots heal 1 health, iron heals 2 and gold gives absorption for 5 seconds. Having absorption also restores your energy faster.

### Core Dash [+] _Pressing your secondary action key will launch you forward, at the cost of 15 energy._

Additionally, enemies along your trajectory will take 3 damage and be kicked upwards slightly.

### Forgotten Arsenal [+] _You wield a once powerful weapon, stripped of its power after many cycles of neglect._

You spawn with a Broken Sword Frame, a rusted sword which deals 5 damage per hit, but can be repaired by right-clicking it with a redstone block in your inventory.

The resulting weapon, the Udex Duty has a right-click ability that fires an air cutter with a range of 12 blocks and deals 4 damage.

### Udex Craftsmanship [+] _By right clicking a redstone block onto a netherite ingot in your inventory, you can craft the Udex Judgement, a far more powerful weapon._

The Udex Judgement has a right-click ability that will deal 7 damage to enemies within a 3-block radius around the player.

### Embraced Eye _Your eye is removable by shift-right clicking on a smithing table. Without your eye, you regenerate energy faster, but your vision is negatively impacted._

The eye can be re-inserted by right clicking with it.
