# Simple Dynamic Lights A lightweight datapack that makes light-emitting items illuminate your surroundings when you hold them. Download the `.zip` file 2. Place it in your world's `datapacks` folder (`saves/<world name>/datapacks/`) 3. Run `/reload` in-game, or rejoin the world 4. Hold a torch and walk into the dark! ## Compatibility Built and tested for **Minecraft 26.2 Snapshot 7**. Uses pack format 105. ## Notes - Players only — mobs holding torches won't emit light - Always on — there's no settings menu (yet) - If lights ever get stuck after removing the pack, run `/kill @e`
