Using a key will lock the chest or other containers (listed below) against other players. The chest opens only by having the key in hand and open the chest or unlocking the container completely again. **** # Which containers are lockable? <details> <summary>open to see image of all lockable containers</summary> !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/R1I83YFC/images/43964a9bd5674a12357c5626b2108f70403f0074.png) - chest - shulker box - barrel - trapped chest - smoker - furnace - blast furnace - brewing stand - hopper - dropper - dispenser - beacon </details> --- ## Lockpicking Can be turned of via command: **OFF:** /scoreboard players set lockpicking k_knl_options 0 ** On:** /scoreboard players set lockpicking k_knl_options 1 By crafting a *Lockpick* players are able to open locked container by holding the lockpick int thier hand, looking the the *locked container* and holding *sneak*. On the top a progress bar will appear. The player need to get it **full**. The chance of the lockpick breaking is high, so the player needs some in their inventory. ### The player needs to have a spawnpoint set on a bed to Lockpick a container *bacause the spawn cord are used to generate the bossbar for the player* <details> <summary>See Lockpick recipe</summary> **Recipe is shapless and can also be crafted in a 2x2** !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/R1I83YFC/images/330915432145db972b8059bae03a1a470c29e0d7.png) </details> ## Protection Locked container are protected by breaking from other player. Also if there is any *primed TNT* near a locked container it will despawn. --- # How... ## ...does it work? By crafting the item you'll generate a unique key which is different to every player. Crafting another key will result into the same key, so even if you lose your key you can craft another one. Only the player who lock the container can open or unlock it again. ## ...to craft: Simple put a stick and a Iron nugget into a 2x2 or 3x3 crafting grid. Doing it again in front of the locked container you can unlock it again. # Notes and issues: **Know Issues:** - Looking at the edge of the container the indication will be next to the container. - Also the container can't be locked or unlocked # Note for content creators: I'm interested in seeing people playing and/or giving feedback on my Datapacks.
