SoW New Game Plus

New Game Plus

(Please Endorse If You Like This Mod)

What Is This?

It's a Save-File I have modified.

You start at the beginning of the game, but already at the max level of 80.

None of the skill points have been applied, so that you can choose to do with them what you will.

I highly recommend using "No Skill Story Locks" & "No Skill Prerequisites" mods respectfully.

Allowing you to pick and choose any skill you want without having to quest or unlock the ones before it.

Essentially, they remove the requirements of locked skills.

Disadvantages

Limitations dictate that it won’t be possible to play the short Prologue & its associated cutscenes.

You will start at the very beginning of 'Act 1. The Siege of Minas Ithil.'

The raise dead skill is still unavailable, until the story decides you should know about it.

Apparently this doesn't work with the GoG version of the game.

This might be able to help convert the save.

How Do I Install?

The process is now super simple, thanks to the creation of a save converter by Sabastien from over in the SoW Modding discord.

Take your .sav file (GoG or Steam, it now does not matter) and upload it to the save converter.

How to find your .sav file.

Make sure to also replace the files found inside;

"Steam\userdata\<user-id>\356190\remote\"

Possible further complications might ensue if you were to leave cloud sync enabled.
