AsoboXCub 2D Painters ToolKit

This is my collection of UV maps and sketches for painting the CubCraftera XCub by Asobo.

I have a few UV maps you dont commonly see, as well as quite a few simple outline sketches (no vector lines) of many parts.

The sketches I use to re color and seperate parts for many uses, such as applying different textures to specific parts of the same file.

The sketch lines are outside the vectored area's, so can be merged directly into the texture and should not show in the game.

While they are not made specifically for beginers it may help you find/figure out what the parts look like, and maybe where they are located.

If you know how to use layers it will also make a re paint Much easier, allowing 'bucket drop' coloring for most major parts.

I use paint.net mostly (its also what I used to create the sketches), although gimp, photoshop and others should supprt multiple layers.

Normally i just pull the needed textures and json's from the official folder,

but the template helps if your not that great with the configs and folder structure.

Texture Haven is a great resource for good free textures complete with all the pbr files.
