MGO Enforcer Battle Gear

MGO is basically non existent and has some of the best customization items for characters. It's time that some of those made it into the main game for use. These are the ones that are my favorite.

2023 Update

It's been a while since I've done any modding for any game. Recently started playing some MGSV again and sort of testing the waters on if I still remember how to make mods for this game. Many things have changed and techniques I had originally done no longer work. However, I have still made a few small updates and a temporary fix to one outfit.

OPTIONAL FILE GEAR TEXTURES

You now have some customization options for the colors of the under suit and vest. These are purely cosmetic and does not affect gameplay. This is an optional file and requires the main file to work.

Currently 5 camo options for the under suit to include:

-Splitter Dark

-Urban (just thought it looked cool)

Vest color options include:

Some vests are already one of the above colors by default so they will not include an option for it.

For example, the Variant 1 vest is already black  so it only comes with Tan and OD. If you want to keep it black simply don't install an optional vest file. The same goes for the under suit. If you want to keep it the original color and only change the vest then simply don't install a suit file.

Refer to the images section for examples. Not every single configuration is shown but you should be able to get a good idea of the options. Mix and match as you desire.

Installation Instruction (also included in README):

1. Download main file you want to use such as Enforcer Battle Gear Variant 1

2. Download the corresponding optional texture file. For this it would be Enforcer Battle Gear V1 Textures

3. Install the main file first

4. Then install the vest and/or suit texture you want from the optional file.

5. You will be informed of conflicts. Accept and Overwrite.

If you want to switch to a different color just uninstall the color you currently have then install the new one.

If you want to revert to the original colors you must uninstall all vest/suit colors installed as well as the original file, then re-install the original.
