This isn’t related to this mod (at all), but there's something happening in the world that's become increasingly important to me in the past two years. I want to use my mods as a platform to share that topic. Unfortunately I can't voice it on NexusMods, because it might go against flimsy and easily weaponizable policy guidelines relating to sociopolitical issues. So I have to vaguely gesture to it instead. Here's a song recommendation.

YAWMYet Another Weather Mod
Features:
Adds rare chances of rain in Afghanistan and fog/mist in Central Africa. In addition, Inclement weather will last slightly longer than in the base game.
Detailed Changes:
1. Inclement weather (Rain, Sandstorms, Fog) will last slightly longer.
a) Sandstorms/Fog last from 16 to 45 minutes (previously 13 to 20)
b) Rain lasts from 2 to 4 hours (previously 1 to 2)
2. Areas of Operation have more diversity in weather.
a) Rare (1 in 10) chance of rain in Afghanistan.
b) Rare (1 in ~7) chance of fog in Central Africa.
Known Issues:
I noticed that inclement weather didn't seem to trigger if you continue your game from free-roam mode. Redeploy from the ACC to fix this.
This mod can be installed manually or via SnakeBite Mod Manager -
For manual installation, simply use 7zip to extract the files from the .mgsv file.
