📋 About This Mod
For those that feel that the non-lethal assortment of weapons could do with an upgrade. Gives all lethal firearms in the game the option to fire Rubberbullets or Tranquilizers instead. Can easily be toggled on or off mid-game, for every weapon individually, even for seperate development grades! So you can take a weapon like the D114 and make only the later development grades non-lethal, so that the enemies that run around with the earlier-grade versions remain lethal. Or do it the other way around and make everyone shoot tranquilizers. Do what you will.
Tranquilizer don't alert enemies when hitting an obstacle, making the enemy investigate rather that alerting them.
All Options are turned off by default, so simply go to the Zeta Menu and toggle on any weapon conversion you want. A quick opening and closing of a Menu like the pause menu or the iDroid will allow the changes to load, no uninstalling/installing needed, nor a closing of the game.
Where to find the options:
Hit F3 while in the game and not in a Menu->Scroll down to "Zeta Menu" and hit right arrow key->"Mod Management"->"Weapons"->Weapon of your choosing->set "active" to On using Left arrow key or Off using the right arrow key-> your done!.
Installation:
Install using Snakebite, either the Full version, or if the many options give you a headache, choose a weapon of your liking from the Downloads instead.
Compatibility:
Effectively everything.
The Weapons haven't changed!
You need to toggle them on in the Zeta Menu, they are all toggled off by default.
Why are these Development Grades not seperated further? / Why has Weapon X not more individual choices?
MGSV attaches specific "Attacks" to specific recievers. So as long as two weapons share the same receiver, they will have the same "Attack", meaning making the Attack non-lethal will make both guns non-lethal. That was a choice made by the Gamedevs during game development, I separated them as much as is possible.
What do the brackets mean?
Those are the development grades affected. Meaning if you turn on BULLHORN SG ZZZ, only The 8th Grade of the Bullhorn shotgun will shoot Tranquilizers.
Does ZZZ stand for Tranquilizers and STN for Rubberbullets?
Yes, same as in-game.
The Infinite Heaven settings keep resetting / "Always Offline" gets turned OFF!
Please navigate to the Zeta Menu->"General settings"->"Zeta in FOB" and tu
