Effect Remover

"EffectRemover.zip" - drag pl folder into GameData, read readme.txt for more detail.

"EffectRemover RMM.zip" - drag zip file into Rising Mod Manager window, mod will automatically install and you just enable it from the mods list.*

Recommended Download: "EffectRemover RMM.zip" because it has settings inside the mod (press the gear icon next to the mod's name in the mods list)

This mod removes all the effect files inside coreeff.dat, pl000f.dat, and pl1400.dat to strip MGR:R of most of its VFX.

"coreeff.dat" - Game-wide VFX, used in all sections of the game and contains the most amount of effects.

"pl000f.dat" - Raiden's effects, but the effect is felt by Wolf in his DLC too.

"pl1400.dat" - DLC Samuel's effects.

THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE USED BY A CASUAL PLAYER OR A NEW PLAYER. THIS MOD IS FUNCTIONALLY THE EQUIVALENT OF REDUCING FUEL USAGE OF YOUR CAR BY THROWING OUT YOUR SEATS AND USING A SCREWDRIVER AS A STEERING WHEEL. BE PREPARED FOR A WHOLE LOT OF INCONVENIENCES IF YOU USE THIS.

For modders (or nerds):

- this was achieved by getting the dat which contains the effect for each playable character (found using EffectEditor) from the data000 and data107 CPK files inside GameData via CripakBrowser.

- the dat files were editted with Raider-B's F-SERVO tool

- to achieve the desired results, the .eff file inside each dat was deleted.
