📋 About This Mod
This simple mod converts vanilla pistols into completely new primary weapons. Does NOT remove or alter the vanilla variants.
The new shotgun pistol has a very short range, but deals a lot of damage and has an alternative attack in the form of launching a frag grenade, it is meant to be an infantry weapon version of the "grenade pistol", I made it into a shotgun/grenade launcher hybrid to make it more interesting.
They use the 3d model of the SPC Carbine, this is because the base game does not have a pistol 3d model as far as I am aware, and the game also does not like it when your infantry has empty hands, the animations look jank, so I've opted for this middle ground.
These weapons are extremely common, and extremely cheap, still, if you wish to spawn them in for free, open the console with tilde (~) and type in: spawn weapon.pistol_prime/appistol_prime/shotgun_pistol_prime for the regular, AP, and shotgun pistol respectively.
