More Bugs

Introduces some additional late game challenge through the addition of some special bug units. Inspired by Raza 5’s Expanded Army List series of mods and Warhammer 40k Tyranid units. Please note this mod uses existing re-scaled in-mission models.

New Units

Lictor: A specialist vanguard organism. Hidden by chameleonic skin, the Lictor stalks far ahead of the alien army, cutting down isolated prey with its mantis-like talons before harvesting their memories through its feeder tendrils.

Tip: make sure you bring a motion scanner or two (or equivalent Impetus upgrade)

Titanic Blaster Bug: The evolved Titanic Blaster Bug has developed the ability to spit a highly reactive chemical mix over long distances that explodes on impact. It can effectively damage or even destroy vehicles, so take care when approaching it with any armored unit.

Tip: This may take most of your units a turn or more to take down, plan accordingly.

Biovore: The Biovore is a grotesque, living artillery beast. It anchors itself to the battlefield and violently spasms to launch highly volatile, explosive mines at enemy formations.

Tip: Expect MENACE carrier mines

Parasite: The Parasite is a bat-winged alien creature that uses a barbed tail to inject living victims with rapidly gestating embryos. Within heartbeats, these ravenous spawn chew free, devouring the host from the inside.

Tip: Fast moving and deadly to infantry.

  Requirements and Installation

  • []Install MelonLoader latest nightly build (https://melonwiki.xyz/). We recommend using the installer they provide.[/]

    []Download the latest Jiangyu. Loader.dll (GitHub Release) and drop it into "steamapps\common\Menace\Mods". MelonLoader should have created the "Mods" folder on its first run.[/]

    []Download mod and unzip it into "steamapps\common\Menace\Mods" so the mod folder is a subfolder of mods with its contents.[/]
