Installation

This mod is safe to add or remove mid game. 

Install via the Mod Manager.

Download the zip file - Open the Mod Manager - Drag/Drop Mod into the loader - Make sure to install the melon loader and Menace modkit plug ins at the top of the app = Done  - Congratulations on enjoying a new flavor of combined arms warfare.

If you run into any bugs, such as units having blank icons and descriptions/not loading - particularly after a patch; please follow these steps first before reporting the bug. Currently patches can corrupt mod files loaded by the mod kit.

• []Step 1: Uninstall the game and delete the following folders:[/]

  []A. Menace modkit wherever it is installed [/]

  []B. Documents > MenaceModkit (delete the entire folder)[/]

  []C. Appdata > Roaming > MenaceModkit (delete the entire folder)[/]

  []D. Steamapps > common > Menace > Menace_Data (Make sure its empty)[/]

  []Step 2: Reinstall the game[/]

  []Step 3: Unzip the modkit[/]

  []Step 4: Reinstall your mod(s) of choice[/]

  Compatibility:

  This mod is safe to use alongside any existing mod excepting any that add units or otherwise modify mission templates as the game cannot currently merge different changes and will default to the last loaded mod.

  Recommend Mods:

  • []Mount Up - Mount Up works out of the box with every unit in my Pirates and Rogue Army mods. [/]

    []Broodmothers - Broodmothers has been designed to be compatible with EAL and should work straight out of the box. Adds a new boss enemy and mounted alien units. Any modded alien units I add whose parent is supported by Broodmothers will automatically work (e.g. Blaster Bug -> Acid Bug).[/]

    []Alpha Strike - Adds death from above jump attacks, twin linked attacks and much more.[/]

    []CRAC - Compact Rotary Assault Cannon[/]

    []SSRS - Squad Support Rifle System[/]

    []Any other weapons mod present on Nexus. Furrychan (mod author profile) has a large collection of vehicle and squad/special weapon mods.[/]

    Mods Known To Be Incompatible

    • []Additional Enemy Units - both override the same spawn list and whichever is loaded last will overwrite the changes the other makes. [/]

      []TCR Occupation - both mods edit the same mission templates and will override which ever is loaded first. [/]
