Roll Call - Pilot Customization (FakeID Legacy Update)

Description

Change any hired pilot's name, callsign, biography, portrait or voice. This mod is an update of FakeID, originally created by Diji.

Players can quickly reassign favorite attributes to a core roster of lancemates or rebuild past teams in new careers.

Installation instructions

Download the . Zip file to your computer in any directory of your choosing. It is strongly recommended that you use a mod manager to extract and install inside the game. 

While there are many good mod managers, I recommend Mechwarrior 5 Load Order Configurator in its most recent version. While this is a lightweight mod, there may be conflicts with other mods that alter pilot details.

Possible conflicts:

• []Pilot Overhaul - Eternal (continuation of 330's Pilot Overhaul). This excellent mod adds many new gameplay features in addition to pilot customization options. It is a heavyweight mod that touches on multiple game dynamics for pilots. It may be a better alternative for players who want to add depth, complexity, and further challenge to managing their pilots.[/]

  Main features

  The intent is to provide a lightweight customization tool that only impacts hired pilots, allowing players to customize the appearance and personalities of their bench. The main features include:

  Please note: this mod does not edit pilot trait values. However, JJ's MW Save Editor pairs well with this mod if users would like to adjust pilot traits and experience.

    Requirements

    Base game and all DLCs. As a continuation of Diji's FakeID, the functionality of Roll Call matches the current releases of the game and is not backwards compatible.
