Recoded Movies (2.5 gb instead of 9.7 gb)

This mod is created for saving disk space, primarily for those who play on small SSDs or HDDs, steam deck or other portable consoles. In general, where every gigabyte is important. I didn't change the video file resolution or fps. Everything remained in it's original form. Only the lowest possible bitrate was used to maintain good video quality.

Recoded all campaign cutscenes (base game and all dlc), codex/tutorial videos, credits.

Compression ratio: Cutscenes ~20-50%, Codex/Tutorials ~5-20% of the total size.

The visual flaws is noticeable, but they are also noticeable in the original videos. The developers have poorly compressed some cutscenes. Also in the codex/tutorials videos, in the first second, there are visual flaws.

I warn you in advance, if you prefer max quality, then refuse to download this mod. I made this for those who are not satisfied with a huge bloated videos.

Installation:

Backup your Bink folder in MW5Mercs/Content/Bink

Backup your Movies folder in MW5Mercs/Content/Movies, in case you decide to revert back.

Unzip MW5Mercs Recoded Movies.zip to the root game folder, with overwrite.
