MechWarrior2 Music Reimagined

This mod is currently broken for the DLC. I have some plans in my head for fixing it, but it will very likely involve a complete redo and I don't know when I will have the time to do that again.

This mod aims to replace every piece of music in the game with music taken from Mechwarrior 2 / Mercenaries / Ghost Bear's Legacy, also taking a few pieces from the album "A New Dawn" by Timothy Seals (them being covers of Mechwarrior 2 music themselves) for variety. To make the old music work with Mechwarrior 5's music system I've sampled the individual pieces of music, often remixing them to form different pieces for combat or ambient music so they are blending together seemlessly depending on what's happening in the game, much like the vanilla music.

For the initial release every piece of in-game music has been replaced, including the hangar walk-up portion of the tutorial.

This is still an ongoing process though, I will be tweaking this further as I continue playing. If you try out this mod I'm always glad to listen to feedback so I can improve on the transitions and the mixing. Any feedback is appreciated, but if you can provide a video of any bug or weirdness you encounter that would help me a lot!

Installation:

• []Find your mod folder by launching the game, going to Mods in the main menu and clicking on "open mod folder"

  []Unzip the "MW2MusicReimagined" folder into that Mods folder

  []Restart the game, click on Mods in the main menu again and tick the checkmark next to the mod
