This mod aims to Buff the Gauss rifles in Mechwarrior 5 closer to their novel descriptions.
In the Novels Gauss rifles are a terror inducing sight, striking fear into Mechwarriors second only too a bad ejection, or inferno rounds.
capable of punching through pre renaissance medium mech's armor and out the other side. In Mechwarrior 5 they are almost always one upped by Autocannons. this mod aims to change that, +3 DMG buff, +10% velocity increase, a big range increase, & slight weight decrease (-1) to the base stats. Hope to make this a first choice as the king of projectile pre-clan weaponry.
