📋 About This Mod
Ten featureless, weightless, slot-refunding pieces of internal gear. Customize them by editing the Equipment_Properties.json with whatever YAML properties you want! Only for YAML, and does absolutely nothing prior to your customization, and
Want to reduce your own damage for some reason? Need to slow down LRM velocity because you accidentally tweaked things too much and now they're overshooting everything?
Ever just wanted to slap something on your mech that does , but didn't find a good version of it in any of the YAML-friendly mods? Now you can do that, with up to twelve separate items, if you're willing to fiddle with the Equipment_Properties.json! Twelve blank slates, ready for whatever you want to do with them. Well, assuming it's something that YAML is capable of making them do, anyway.
Each piece of equipment:
-
[]weighs 0 tons
[
]takes up -1 crit slots (ie it takes a slot when you place it, but then refunds it by giving you a slot back)[]installs/uninstalls in 0 days, for 1 cbill
[]has an introdate of 9876, and thus won't clog up your store or crate rewards
Use the F10 menu to get them. The specific command is addequip gear1
(and then gear2 for the second one, etc, up to gear8).
V 1. 1: Added Structure1 and Structure2 (tagged as Equipment. Internal. Structure), and Armor1 and Armor2 (tagged as Equipment. Internal. Structure), because items that are not tagged that way are unable to actually use the properties "structureWeightMulti", "armorWeightMulti", or "armorPerTon". Armor1/2 will behave very strangely if they don't have one of those two properties. Don't use both, they're two ways of doing the same thing. All other properties should work just as well on these items, but I didn't bother testing because that's what the other eight are for.
Documentation for the possible equipment properties can be found in in the "Mods\YetAnotherMechlab\Resources\Readme.md" file. If you're not familiar with json, copy off of things from the Equipment_Properties.json from other mods and figure it out (learning is fun). I also highly recommend copying the contents of your file into https://jsonlint.com/ to make sure you haven't missed a stray comma somewhere (like I do all the time)
I WILL PROVIDE ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT OR HELP FOR THIS MOD. it's literally called DIY, you have to do it yourself sorry. read the documentation and google stuff and learn, learning is fun!
