Paradigm ChronoTest

This is the first public facing preview and most functions are working.

Includes diplomacy, a detailed magic system, encumbrance, martial arts, and more.

5 eras are supported, with the eventual plan of allowing characters created within any of these eras to time travel to other eras (time travel requires WSE2).  This is a HUGE mod with 3300 items and 2800 troop types defined so disk space is roughly double what you expect; not all assets are in use at any given era.

You MUST set "load textures on demand" to ENABLED for Warband or 32-bit WSE2 (and other than chrono jumps WSE2 is not strictly required).  64-bit WSE2 direct from K700 has not been tested but should run this very well.  The mod is 4. 5 GB uncompressed, most of that in items textures.  The map is 6 times the surface area of Phantasy Calradia 2024.  There are 20 diplomacy using factions, 55 towns, 240 villages.  I am still working on scenes for the last villages and 40 more need to be done later in April, so this is a work in progress.   Menus allow visiting nearly any NPC of interest without even needing a scene.

If you do not know Phantasy Calradia 2018 or later (I did ALL the code changes for 2018 and 2024 versions), or Paradigm Chronomancer, or even Paradigm Worlds, this mod will be confusing, as nearly everything you assume you know about what to do in Warband no longer applies.  Also at of Easter 2026 (when I write this) character creation will have about 2 minutes of off and on red errors as I have not finished tweaking diplomacy scripting to understand some of the factions are dead, some of the heroes are dead, and some of the scripting from legacy code no longer applies.  Mostly this is gone after the first 3 minutes.  "Mostly".

I place this at Nexusmods for two reasons:

A) Translators in Russia and China (and any others are welcome) do not have access to Steam workshops.

B) some people are rugged enough to be able to accept a little red in their life, and may as well come up to speed "early".

I expect the rest of the player base will wait a month until someone tells them "the water is fine".  There are some people that can handle a "pre-alpha" work in progress.  I work on this every day; it is a hobby not a job, and I am retired now so have time.

a quick mini manual:

press B to see the Mage spell list when in battle/walking around town or village center/tavern/prison break

press N to see the cleric prayer list when in battle or the above town/village center missions

v exits either list display if you do not feel like selecting a spell.

ALWAYS leave one weapon slot unequipped so summoned mage spells have a place to equip.
