Descriptive Troop-names for Prophesy of Pendor 3.9.5 - PoP-SubMod

. . . D'Shar Ghazi Dervish   renamed to   I6 D'Shar Ghazi Dervish   (indicating tier 6 infantry)

. . . D'Shar Ghazi Stalker   renamed to   H6 D'Shar Ghazi Stalker   (indicating tier 6 Horse Archers)

The Letters are:

I = Infantry

A = Archers

C = Cavalry

H = Horse Archers

xK = Knight  (e.g. IK for Infantry-type, CK for Cavalry-type)

Installation

(assuming you have installed 'Prophesy of Pendor 3. 9. 5' - e.g. from the Steam Workshop

or from here:  https://www.nexusmods.com/mbwarband/mods/3710)

the 'troops.txt' file from the zip-file has to be put into the PoP-Mod-folder, overwriting the original (make a backup first of course).

And that's all - you can even do that while the game is running - the changes take effect after a reload of a savegame.

the path should be gamepath\Modules\Prophesy of Pendor V3. 9. 5

e.g.  C:\Program Files (x86)\Mount and Blade Warband\Modules\Prophesy of Pendor V3. 9. 5

or for steam with manually installed PoP maybe

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules\Prophesy of Pendor V3. 9. 5

or for steam with PoP installed via Steam-Workshop

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steampapps\workshop\content\48700\875202420

(in case of version-confusion: Prophesy of Pendor 3. 9. 5 includes the 3. 9. 5. 1-Hotfix)

Compatibility with other mods

Well it should be compatible with any mod that doesn't modify PoP's troops.

If the mod does not contain a 'troops.txt' file, it will work together.

My old head is a bit overwhelmed with the many troops and I find it difficult to estimate an army's strength.

Also this Mod makes it much easier for me to manage my own troops.

So I spent a few days to make this - and I'm glad I did  :)

How was it done ?

I used "Mount and Blade Barracks Editor" from here:  https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade/mods/3958

And Notepad++ for the plural-names.
