📋 About This Mod

This small sub-mod for Bannerpage makes the following adjustments:

Rebalances all troops in the game (in the TROOP VISUALS & REBALANCING folder)

Slightly improves all companions (in the TROOP VISUALS & REBALANCING folder)

Greatly improves Khergit troops (they were too weak and poorly equipped) (in the TROOP VISUALS & REBALANCING folder)

Greatly improves mercenary troops(they were too poorly equipped, now their salaries correspond to their strength) (in the TROOP VISUALS & REBALANCING folder)

Changes some castle scenes (in the NEW SCENES folder)

Adds more equipment variety to 80% of the troops in the mod, making each soldier a bit more varied and unique and making the visual experience of battles less

monotonous (in the TROOP VISUALS & REBALANCING and GAMEPLAY TWEAKS folder)

Changed the status of some items (in the ITEM REBALANCING)

Quests given by guild masters or elders now give more relationship points with the city or village, the "bring cattle" and "bring grain" quests now give 10 prosperity to villages instead of 4, some actions that give honor now give 50% more honor, some actions that add relationship with lords now give 50% more relationship points (it's not a huge increase, it's something like 2 points for 3 points gained or 4 for 6, but it makes quests for nobles much more fun) and the prisoner management skill allows you to have 10 prisoners at each point instead of 5 (in the GAMEPLAY TWEAKS folder)

replaces armors that were not used in the game (they were only used as easter eggs) with new armors that are now being used (in the NEW ARMOR folder) Armors used: https://www.nexusmods.com/mbwarband/mods/6129?tab=posts

Armor hit sounds have been changed to more realistic and less epic sounds (in the REALISTIC HIT SOUNDS folder)

I strongly recommend that you install the "new armors" module as I say in the installation guide, because the old version (without "new armors") is outdated and I will not touch it anymore.

WARNING: This submod will work on an existing save game, but I recommend creating a new game (changing the status of troops and companions will not work on an existing save game, but the following things will work: equipment rebalance, castle scenes, item rebalance, gameplay tweaks, realistic hit sounds, new armor and troop skins, music replacement, and texture replacement)

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since it's a cosmetic mod, place the files in your Modules folder and enable it in the launcher's mod list
  • Check the mod's page for any required dependencies or load order notes, as the description is sparse
  • If you're using other visual mods, test for conflicts by enabling this one last
