"Submachine gun" “Born from necessity, built for survival.” Agram 2000 The Agram 2000 is a Croatian submachine gun developed during the conflicts that accompanied the breakup of Yugoslavia in the early 1990s. Chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum, the weapon operates using a simple blowback system and fires from an open bolt. Its design prioritizes ease of manufacture, low production cost, and battlefield practicality. The Agram 2000 features: — compact dimensions — folding wire stock — detachable box magazine — stamped steel construction The weapon is lightweight and easy to produce, making it suitable for wartime production under difficult industrial conditions. While lacking the refinement of more sophisticated submachine guns, the Agram 2000 delivers reliable close-range firepower in a simple package. Historical Background The Agram 2000 was developed in Croatia during the Croatian War of Independence (1991–1995), a period when newly formed Croatian forces faced severe shortages of military equipment. Because access to foreign weapons was limited, domestic manufacturers produced a variety of locally designed firearms that could be built quickly and economically. The Agram 2000 became one of several emergency wartime weapon designs intended to arm military and security personnel. Although produced in relatively limited numbers, it remains a notable example of improvised wartime firearm development in the Balkans. If there are any bugs or malfunctions, write in the comments.
