Building on experience gained from the original VHS rifle, HS Produkt introduced the VHS-2 family with improved ergonomics, modularity, and NATO compatibility. The CT ("Compact Tactical") version was specifically designed for users requiring a shorter and more maneuverable weapon without sacrificing ballistic performance. The VHS-2 family has been adopted by the Croatian Armed Forces and has attracted international interest due to its modern design and competitive performance.
