"Compact submachine gun" “Small size, massive rate of fire.” Ingram MAC-11 The Ingram MAC-11 is a compact submachine gun designed for high rates of fire and extreme portability. Chambered typically in . 380 ACP, the weapon was developed as a smaller counterpart to the more powerful MAC-10. The MAC-11 operates using a simple blowback system and fires from an open bolt. Its extremely compact design, combined with a very high cyclic rate of fire, allows it to deliver a large volume of fire in a short amount of time. The weapon feeds from detachable box magazines inserted into the pistol grip. Many versions of the MAC-11 were designed to be used with suppressors, which helped reduce the perceived firing noise and slightly slowed the weapon’s high rate of fire. The weapon was intended as a compact automatic firearm for military and special operations use. However, the company soon encountered financial difficulties, and production rights later changed hands. Despite limited official military adoption, the MAC-11 became widely known due to its distinctive design and appearances in movies, television, and video games. Its compact size and extremely high rate of fire made it one of the most recognizable submachine guns of the late Cold War era. If there are any bugs or malfunctions, write in the comments.
