HK MP5 A3

"Compact Submachine Gun / Counter-Terrorism Weapon" “Precision in close quarters.” Heckler & Koch MP5 A3 is a 9×19mm Parabellum submachine gun featuring a retractable metal stock. Developed in the 1960s by the German company Heckler & Koch, the MP5 became one of the most iconic and widely used submachine guns in the world. Unlike most SMGs that operate on simple blowback, the MP5 uses a roller-delayed blowback system, derived from the G3 rifle. This mechanism reduces recoil impulse and improves controllability, contributing to the weapon’s exceptional accuracy in both semi-automatic and full-automatic fire. The A3 variant is distinguished by its collapsible stock, making it more compact for transport and close-quarters operations while retaining full performance. Standard magazines typically hold 15 or 30 rounds. Brief historical background: The MP5 gained worldwide recognition in the 1970s and 1980s, especially after its use by the British Special Air Service (SAS) during the 1980 Iranian Embassy siege in London. Its precision and reliability in counter-terrorism operations cemented its global reputation. Over the decades, the MP5 A3 was adopted by military, police, and special forces units in dozens of countries. Though gradually replaced in some roles by compact carbines, it remains a benchmark for submachine gun design. If there are any bugs or malfunctions, write in the comments. I will try to fix them.
