Geissele URG-I 14.5

"Assault Rifle / Special Operations" “A proven evolution of the M4 platform, refined for elite operators and modern warfare.” Geissele URG-I 14. 5 (Upper Receiver Group – Improved) is a modern combat rifle configuration developed to meet the demands of U. S. Special Operations Forces. Built around a 14. 5-inch barrel, it balances compact handling with effective range, making it ideal for close to mid-range combat scenarios. The URG-I features Geissele’s rigid free-float handguard, enhanced barrel performance, and compatibility with modern optics and accessories. Designed for reliability under harsh conditions, it delivers consistent accuracy, excellent recoil control, and modularity suited for dynamic battlefield roles. Historical background: The URG-I program was initiated as part of the U. S. SOCOM effort to upgrade existing M4A1 platforms without adopting an entirely new rifle. Developed by Geissele Automatics, the URG-I introduced improved rails, barrels, and mounting solutions, significantly enhancing accuracy and durability. The 14. 5-inch configuration became one of the most widely recognized setups used by special operations units. If there are any bugs or malfunctions, write in the comments. I will try to fix them.
