BlackOps Retexture for Edi's Head

BLACKOPS MODS

"BlackOps" Retexturing is a theme i decided to embrace for most of my ME3 mods. The spirit is : sobriety, class, tactical features, stealth/dark, "realism" in a way and no "power rangers" multi-color anymore. If your eyes love it, you might found other mods i did on the same theme by writing BlackOps in the research bar.

DESCRIPTION

I don't even know why i put so much effort in that character … i mean i almost never took her !

But as an artist, i think her design is beautiful, and somehow that's what pushed me through the hell of doing 2 big whole retexture …

To fit my edi's retexture mods, i needed a particular head, with precise color that fits both default, the DLC armor and its helmet. With the head i worked the tiny detail that makes her more sexy aswell, more living. A blue reflect lipstick that add a nice sexy touch, some very carefully hand drawn eyebrows pattern (and that ladies and gentlemen bring her appeal much much higher !) now she suddenly looks more human with that, EYEBROWS FTW !. Also FINALLY a DAMN normalmap separation between forehead and her "hair part", srsly this shit was missing … i had the feeling it was a silly paint job … Now it's like it's a

whole removable part. it rocks like this !

I created my own assets for that, but i also installed some of the nice texture of the awesome Ottemis to get that final result. Please keep in mind that without her, this work would have been less cool !

CONTENT SUMMED UP

-Blue-violet sexy lipstick (but discreet)

-Slightly more smoky eyelids (very discreet)

-Eyebrows Patterns (HELLYEAH !)

-NEW NORMAL MAP (THAT MAKE A NICE SPLIT BETWEEN FOREHEAD AND THE "HAIR PART" HURRAY !!!)

-Several clever layers to reinforce hair/forehead split

-Multiples tones of different steel on earpads to make it feel more like a headset than non-aesthetic part of her skin.

-One led light on headset (inspired by Ottemis) Compared to the screenshots, the tiny lower one has been removed because that bitch was glitching.

-No visor anymore (because we need to see these beautiful eyes !)

-Ottemis Honeycomb "hair part" retexture

-Ottemis eye's (specular & base textures)

-Ottemis Face specular

INSTALLATION TIPS (MANUAL ONLY)

Mass effect 3 is really a pain in the ass to mod. This might be my first and last one i think. Sorry if i don't give you any other way than a TPF installation.

Lucky me ME3explorer evolved well and it's just a texture update we are doing here !
