Getting Started

Requires ModSettings. Install WSU through Overstrike and choose your installer options.

Open Mod Settings → Web-Swinging Unlimited in-game to customize your setup.

New installations start with the built-in WSU default (The BND Preset).

Your last-used settings save automatically. Release both webs when changing physics or travel modes.

Restore Defaults returns to the built-in setup without deleting your named presets.

Classic Swinging

Classic builds on the game's swinging system. Choose a physics preset,

then adjust speed, bounce, and web timing to suit your style.

Physics Presets:

Vanilla:

Uses the game's normal speed response.

Natural:

Gentler gravity than Realistic for a lighter swing.

Realistic:

Stronger gravity than Natural for a heavier rise and fall.

Heavy:

The strongest gravity of these presets, giving swings more downward pull.

Energy Conservation:

Trades speed for height as you climb and regain speed on the way down.

Custom:

Fine-tune the controls below. Editing a physics slider selects Custom and keeps the other values.

Classic Physics Controls

Classic Swing Speed:

Changes speed gained while a web is pulling. 100% keeps the preset's response; it does not multiply existing momentum or boost free fall.

Classic Web Bounce:

Adds the original bouncy-web effect to Classic swings.

Classic Gravity:

Adjusts the strength of the custom downward pull.

Native Physics Blend:

Blends your custom physics with the game's speed response. 0% uses your custom controls; 100% uses the game's response.

Energy Conservation:

Controls how strongly the swing preserves the balance between speed and height.

Extra Air Drag:

Adds resistance that gradually removes speed. Zero adds no extra drag.

Vanilla:

Keeps the game's normal web timing.

Webs Have Travel Time:

Adds travel time before the web catches and starts supporting your swing.

Smooth:

Builds the web's pull more gradually for a softer catch.

Subtle variants:

Shorten the timing effect for a less pronounced delay.

Pendulum variants:

Base the timing on web length for a pendulum-like rhythm.
