📋 About This Mod
Retexture of the Black Suit to be less shiny
My ideal version of the new iconic black suit. I get the suit's an alien but I always imagined it not looking so gooey and like an oil slick.
2. 0 Update: The remaining gloss has been removed! And now adds the 'Surge Symbiote' suit!
Turns out the remaining gloss was a bug with older versions of tools used to extract or re-pack the texture files. The suits are now more or less matte!
Because the suit now looks as intended, the FX and tendril options don't have as much as an effect on the glossiness of the suit and thus those options have been downsized.
I highly recommend you pair these with Matte Classic Black Suit (Tendrils Update) by 'Huminator' for better tendril options than I could provide!
NOTE:
I've deprecated the blue and purple color for 2. 0 because I don't like how those colors edits affect Venom and other symbiotes... and to be honest, I don't really even use or like those edits that much, thus I have no interest to continue creating and supporting those versions. If you like and want to use those colors, you are free to use the old version of this mod!Installation:
-Extract mod contents from zip file
-Install ‘.modular’ with the latest version of Overstrike
-Once mod is added to Overstrike 'right click' on mod then 'edit modules' to bring up suit choices
-Once choices are selected make sure to 'save' selected choices and then click 'install mods'
Launch the game and enjoy!
